About
Lamppost Productions

The Mission of Lamp Post Productions is to universalize traditional Islamic teachings by giving people of all levels of sophistication access to our religious legal, theological, and spiritual tradition via our multimedia works and products. Lamppost Productions features the written and oral works of Ustadh Abdullah bin Hamid Ali, the only western graduate of Morocco’s Faculty of Shariah, a branch of the University of al-Qarawiyyīn. He is also author of ‘The Attributes of God’ (Amalpress), ‘Muslim Funeral Guide’ (Lamp Post), and ‘A Return To Purity In Creed’ (Lamp Post).
Lamp Post Productions is guided by the fundamental and universal religious concern of aiding in the spiritual growth and advancement of the underserved and underprivileged populations of every society.
We have apportioned out their livelihood between them in this world, and We have raised some of them above others, so that some may employ others in their work. And the mercy of your Lord is better than what they amass.
{Qur’ān 43/32}
And since reformation begins with knowledge of self and truth, we have chosen to focus our efforts on giving a clear and balanced presentation of traditional Islamic teachings to assist in spiritual improvement and maturity.
Our Beloved Messenger — may Allah grant him mercy and peace — said,
Allah is at the aid of His slave as long as His slave is at the aid of his brother.
{Muslim}
Lamppost Productions was founded by Ustadh Abdullah Ali to disseminate and structure this awareness in a series of articles, books, and multimedia lectures for mass availability through every information avenue available.
